Well I don't know what to tell you. I've seen it, and it's not a new thing either. I'm guessing it all depends on local and family traditions.

As for weaving, no I don't weave, but I wish I could. My Nali' used to weave and was not able to pass down that art. She tried to teach me when I was a boy, but I was too restless and rambunctious to sit still. I was even told men used to weave a long time ago which has roots in the creation story.
