Don't like Native Americans??

I dont understand WHY if a person dosen't have some affinity toward Native Americans, or even a just basic regard for them as another people on this earth..why would you want to associate yourself with them at all? I am confused I guess..when I dont like people I stay away from them. I did ask this person why they dont go elsewhere..well, they have 'work' to do. HUH?? White people have already tried that, 'helping' with hostility and it didnt work. Want to 'help'?...take your hostility and get OUT. AS I read through these 2 email rant against Native men, and women, all I can think is 'why was it okay to write me this?'..I guess it was forgotten that the person I was closest to in my life growing up was my grandfather (who I was sent to live with quite a bit here and there)..a Sioux, who was a good-but traumatized man. (I dont know what it was that did that to him as there were a lot of 'forbidden' subjects in my family, so if it was assimilation that did it or the WAY it was done, I dont know..he took it to his grave at a fairly young age). But just because I identify myself as a 'white woman' (sorry), it dosent mean that something dosent stir in a vengeful mannner at racist rants against Native Americans. Sorry no Native men wanted your a**, but looks like they are smarter than you gave them credit for huh? I know sometimes people get frustrated and all, but this went beyond. I was not a safe person to send this to. I am not a safe person to send this to. All I can say is, if you dont like the people--get the hell out. Have a good day all.

There are some stupid shallow people around arn't there....such ppl should be shot at personally. It's the hudging a book by it's cover senario again...like an example would be "I'm not talking to you because you have pink hair!!".... like I said such ppl should all be buried in the ground by a HUGE digger!!

Sorry for my silence I have been having laptop and then connection issues. The laptop has just come back after spending just over a week being repaired and then on top of that the net serviceprovider decided it was going to throw a wobbly too....

Kudos on your post.. My sentiments exactly... I've come across people like that before and its not a pretty sight. I guess I missed this lady around the forums since I'm still new but sincerely no shallow woman like that could hold a candle to a true indigenous warrioress.. Like you said, they can read all the books they want, can go to all the pow wows, find a native man, dress in leather and beaded up.. none of it matters. At the end of the day its still an illusion. We're the ones that live the reality.

`that woman (one last rant on this and its out of my system) had the nerve to say that because she was "strong" she could scold Israel ("Hey Israel!", is what she wrote me) for thier policy on the Palestinians. Not that I agree or disagree personally is not the issue...the tone and 'place' IS. First a people should be sensitive to thier place in recent history with the 'people' they are addressing, before offering thier critique on foreign policy. Second, what a shining example they are of foreign policy to offer criticism of others! Hey thanks for showing 'Israel' the art of persecution of a people...thanks also for the amazing inventions: volkswagon and Shamwow.

`i didn't specify who she snowballed & i feel you shouldn't suggest that i was talking about you. it is good that she showed her true colors though. she is a manifest of hate. never liked her & i did not care to answer any of her emails, i just felt a voo doo moon about her. as for saying James Holy Eagle chose her, she must have been walking on soiled land. if i could see through her image, don't you think James would have.
