How can we keep the dialog open ,while discussing delicate personal issues,subject matter or experiences without name calling or words of disrespect out of frustration or difference of opinion ?

Well people do tend to discuss personal issues on this Forum that we can relate too or have had a similar experience.

BUT, how do we have a conversation about touchy subjects that the participants will have a difference of opinion about, while keeping it civil?

Why Would I attack you, we are trying to avoid that sort of degradation of the human spirit.

`I feel for your plight..I dooo. But look at the history here of the forums mainly in General Discussion and see where these "talks" usually go. My head is peaceful tonight..I laid out any b.s. I had early this a.m. and thank you for the response and Hugger..Zoupi too. I am really not that serious most of the time..aside from the impression my photos give by the comments I get in the emails and comments from time to time..I am HAPPY! My smiles are for my friends, and whats laid deep in my heart I hold close to myself only. No one gets to that!ha. Blackfootedgirl, I really believe as chicken as it sounds..most would rather read from a distance and comment in messages or emails than to risk being blasted publically here. I don't want them to bother doing that anymore really. Love to YOU!!!!!!

I understand what chumani is saying for we have been blasted many a time for our input or is it output??Me you can say anything you want, after all it's just words across the screen, you can't hurt me physically , so what the heck, you start a forum and if it appeals to me I'll put in my humble opinion..

`Poo...I am afraid we may have disappointed our new friend. Where I am coming from is I live in a very small town now..at least through the winter anyway. And I have a job where the petty griping is so bad that it has made anything gone on here look like we're all rational adults. I vented this a.m. in the new "thang" there and then..let it go. Now what I wrote had been on my mind for awhile with my own experience AND it was really about the emails and not really the forum that had upset me--days ago..not to say I wasnt upset here too..but hey. The flip side of this is when I let go of being upset...it's GONE. And really anyone here I had a long standing resentment about deleted. What mattered to me for the better part of the day is I laughed so much, literally, my side hurt..and just had some fun. Some days are just like that too..more of those than the other and THAT I am grateful for.

**I'd like to add..and I should have been more clear yesturday, that I was not talking about deleting my account. I really just wanted a break from the forums and to keep a "low profile" for awhile. Been wanting to for a bit, but I will feel drawn back in when I noticed someone has made a post and no one is answering. People here have been nice enough to answer me..so I will feel like everyone should at least have their thoughts acknowleged. But, with NO offense to anyone at all I would just like a little break..just to email, focus on friends and read it from a distance with out feeling like I am snubbing anyone. Love Ya! Happy to see that all turn good for everybody ! Chumani thank you for your thank. Yous made me laugh with the "we're all rational adults" ! Rational adults is a dream... lol ! Of course we are when it's necessary but no matteur how old we are... we all stay unbearable peoples from time to time like children ha ! ha !
Just for precise my views, of course your profil is your matter and you're grown enough to know what you want to do, write or show ha ! ha! I just like to see peoples having a true heart smiling when their smile show their wellness and their happiness, absolutely not for some aesthetic or engaging reasons.
The only persons I could be enable to share with in healt way are the conceited ones. I can't endure the peoples who believe to worth more than the others that's why I avoid them as much as I can.
For all the others I keep my mind open and just try to not hurt them.

It is about How to Keep our words clean and respectful towards others ,how to keep dialog open and authentic while discussing issues we may not agree or agree with,that sometimes are personal and sensitive and related to our community or issues that effect us all adversely in this world, ie politics?

Sometimes people are very passionate about their views and cannot for the life of them understand WHY you cannot see it from their perspective.

Look at it as an outsider watching this happen, then answer and keep your personal crap out,just answer the question in this forum as asked.

It is not my personal plight, this effects all of us here and especially those who will not respond or enter the forum because of how others before them have been treated for speaking their mind, if we want more participation this problem needs to be addressed.
