Between here and there....
Mother earth's green skin bleeds as my swift movements pierce through her lushness, and soon, the dirt parts from my feet.
My soul rises like a bird.
It is somewhere between here and there, and higher I rise. I see the meadows, the fields, the dwellings, and treetops. The wind churns and sways, pressing against me in a tangled dance.
Each journey is the same, and soon it must end. " Why," I cry. Not knowing why I am here so often. As quickly as my feet carried me into flight, I return to a hard and heavy ground. The weight of invisible bouders rest upon my shoulders, and my feet re-attach to my earth body.
My heart still beating strong and the sweet smell of the heaven's mist still linger on my brow. I was somewhere between here and there, but now, I am awake.
