See that I'm a shadowing raven

Turmoil in a haven

Alive in a book

My name's been changed, in prologue

The play is agony, it is hellish

My part is created to embellish

I've tried to run but, I am stopped

I change my name, live in the dark

It is moments savored, smiles and words

Waking calls of blackbirds

Raven is the whisperer, in the know, in sync

With the dark ones, the enlightened

My senses are heightened

I might be Wolf, lost - dead to a pack

Excommunicated for heresy

I might be Lynx, forgotten - left for dead

I'm exonerated, in leprosy

I am free, but shunned, I run for the sun

In search of the brighter day

I'll change my name, live in the light

Because I am seen, I am not transparent, look

See that I'm a shimmering raven
