Mother always fixed my favorite dish - food.
Mother always said I was her favorite son - considering I was her only son.
Mother liked to encourage me, saying "Son, you're going to go far!"
That made me smile. Then she would add "The farther, the better!"
Mother liked to fight my battles until one day I had to intervene. As she was wailing on the man, I yelled at her, "Okay, mom! Okay! Dad's had enough!!"
Mother lavished attention on me and I was the happiest boy in the world - until the social workers were gone.
Mother was the reason I became a born-again Christian - I always prayed she wouldn't kill me.
Mother said I was her pride and joy - the only time she said that was when I was born.
Mother spoiled me like crazy. When I became insatiable she beat me like crazy.
Mother loved to sing lullabies to me - until I started singing along 'No, don't come home a drinkuuun' with lovin' on your mind!!'
