Hi, My name is David and I'm currently enrolled at a community college and wanted to post. What is a excellent way of getting our native people off of alcohol, drugs, and the sickness of REZ life. I used to live there and want to change and make our people stronger. That is why I go to school as of now and I'm there for my son. I have a lot of my family there and it hurts to go home at times. I know once i get older I will go there to be with my family. I bring my son back to see his roots and Family. Don't get me wrong I love it there and it makes me feel free. Being an urban Indian is tough, but I have to do it to get ahead. Today I remain drug and alcohol free to break the cycle of addiction.

`Hi David, I am Vickie. I understand all to well what you speak of. You are really doing all you can do by breaking the cycle and showing a difference to your child as I have done. I am up there in age and now it is time to go home to my roots. Breaking the cycle is the most you can do.Stay sober!
