How many countries do you think the u.s. has bombed since world war 2??

The bombing list
Korea and China 1950-53 (Korean War)

Guatemala 1954

Indonesia 1958

Cuba 1959-1961

Guatemala 1960

Congo 1964

Laos 1964-73

Vietnam 1961-73

Cambodia 1969-70

Guatemala 1967-69

Grenada 1983

Lebanon 1983, 1984 (both Lebanese and Syrian targets)

Libya 1986

El Salvador 1980s

Nicaragua 1980s

Iran 1987

Panama 1989

Iraq 1991 (Persian Gulf War)

Kuwait 1991

Somalia 1993

Bosnia 1994, 1995

Sudan 1998

Afghanistan 1998

Yugoslavia 1999

Yemen 2002

Iraq 1991-2003 (US/UK on regular basis)

Iraq 2003-present

Afghanistan 2001-present

Pakistan 2007-present

Somalia 2007-8, 2011

Yemen 2009, 2011

Libya 2011

Plus
Iran, April 2003 -- hit by US missiles during bombing of Iraq, killing at least one person {2}

Pakistan, 2002-03 -- bombed by US planes several times as part of combat against the Taliban and other opponents of the US occupation of Afghanistan {3}

China, 1999 -- its heavily bombed embassy in Belgrade is legally Chinese territory, and it appears rather certain that the bombing was no accident (see chapter 25)

France, 1986 -- After the French government refused the use of its air space to US warplanes headed for a bombing raid on Libya, the planes were forced to take another, longer route; when they reached Libya they bombed so close to the French embassy that the building was damaged and all communication links knocked out.{4}

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, May 13, 1985 -- A bomb dropped by a police helicopter burned down an entire block, some 60 homes destroyed, 11 dead, including several small children. The police, the mayor's office, and the FBI were all involved in this effort to evict a black organization called MOVE from the house they lived in.

A terrorist is someone who has a bomb
but doesn't have an air force!

`How could any Native support the colonial regimes here knowing what they have done, not only to our people, but to our land as well? And, how could people be so shallow to laugh all that off?? Their attacks on Native people did not stop 100 years ago either; if you believe that, you're blind. Their recent foreign policies are just as evil too. The invasion of Iraq was originally blamed on 9/11 (uncle sam's roosters coming home to roost), then they had to drop that line since Hussein had nothing to do with it! (Al Queida couldn't get into Iraq until Bush assassinated Hussein.) Then, there was the WMD bull----... Yet, Native kids join the army to go kill other brown people in their homes to make the white man richer. And their parents are proud of them for the evil they do. Man, that's f'ed up!

What are you gonna do when uncle sam sends your kids to Palestine to murder Indigenous Palestinians to support the illegal state of Israel? Or, to Colombia to murder Indians down there who are protesting the invasion of their lands by u.s. oil companies?? Oh s---, bet you didn't know nothin 'bout that either, huh?? And, don't forget the Indigenous people from Mexico known as the Zapatistas (EZLN), will you be proud of your child if they get sent down there to murder Mayan Indians who have been fighting for their freedom? If you support all those killings, then don't be surprised when your brain-washed child gets deployed to your own rez to murder their own close relatives... again...

`War, or fighting on any level, unless you're defending yourself from attack (&, reacting to the government's bogus ascertion that everyone else in the world is jealous of your alleged "freedom" & is about to attack you, does not count) is immature & in violation of probably every religion on earth (not that anyone follows, or even understands, their claimed religion anymore, but...); yet, for more than 500 years now this country has killed untold multitudes of people in the name of God. It's time human beings focus on being humane for a change... or, is it too late??

Whatever you believe in, war is not the answer to the problems we're all facing though.

`War is not the answer to any conflict. And, the innocent civilians who end-up paying with their lives are not the ones who wanted it. I lived a pretty violent life for most of my years, now I can't think of anything I hate more than useless violence though.

`Pte San Win (White Buffalo Woman) told us to respect all life, & to live in peace. Being that this is an Indigenous site, I think Indigenous perspectives are all that are relevant here. No disrespect intended, but these foreign religions are too violent, to in-line with what they refer to as the anti-Christ... which maybe is where that contradiction or hypocracy your speaking of originates from... Nonetheless, our own Indigenous religion, a Divine belief gifted to us by the Creator, as opposed to the one forced onto us by whites, tells us to be intelligent humane beings, & to respect all life. War is sacrilegious, & ignorant. The longer people justify such idiotic concepts, or allow complacency to rule in their thinking, the longer such immaturities shall prevail. An eye for an eye leaves us all blind.

` beliefs, ideaologies, rationalizations, etc etc...words of the english "thought" process,or abc abracadabra nothing more nothing less. we in today's world have been so conditioned to think before we answer anything before us , we have lost all concepts of what "life" is all about. the only word i can come up with in the abc's is" survive"...for us to go back to where we once were as a people it is in our best intrest to look towards our brothers and sisters, plants animals finned insects grandmother and grandfather rocks and dirt, cause that is the only way balance will bring things back to harmony again.....what one so called "culture" from another believes in we now adays believe is either right or wrong from another...again "believe" or maybe the better phrase to use instead of just one word would be "thought or memory of conditioning from the past"...my tupa (grandmother) once told me to get out of the head and into the heart to see everything for what it truely is...the word "respect" in the abc's from what i was conditioned to see from the elders of yesterday was give thanks to all brothers and sisters that give "life" to all that live on motherearth wheither for a short time or long....but at the same time "feel" to life of the vehicle or not is each and every one of our choices because we are all unique in our own ways...dont be colonial or "clone" from another but rather be your own in life and accept everything outside one's self as tools to life or death , nothing more nothing less....

`well the thing about these religions is you have to look at the roots of them...usually, no matter where the ideas were stolen from, they were hijacked by governments or groups bent on control...one example...Jesus...never taught all the things that Christianity claims, in fact if we are honest his teachings were more close to indigenous teachings...not worrying about what you have, only taking what you need nothing more, living honest, spreading love...but what it was turned into by dictators is what we have now, which has conditioned people into thinking that god is a basically a righteous dictator, and that makes them believe that killing or hurting others is ok as long as it is done my god's chosen people...which is a bunch of BS, and in my mind is a complete violation of the creator, taking words and putting them in the mouth of the creator and anyone who came to try and show us the way...

similarly Islam was done the same thing to...Muhammad taught only self defense, simple life, personal communion with god, kindness to people, even those that were enemies... but it has been turned into a religion of show, pomp, control and insanity, intolerance, and murder... by tyrants as early as 200 years after he died...there is always a pattern there...one of taking good solid common sense and kindness and inserting it into totalitarian doctrines to make them sound good to the masses...a way to fool the slaves into enslaving themselves...

the reason that these exclusive clubs that control the world use religions to brainwash folks is so they can eradicate any and all indigenous teachings, or pollute them, and the truly wholesome ways of life in order to keep people enslaved...

in fact the word religion means "to bind again" also the Latin word prayer is from the word "precari" which is where we get the word "precarious"...the picture in that word, is of a slave begging for his life from his master...but an open mind realizes that the creator does not do this to people...only tyrants do this...so who are they trying to say we should worship in these religions? certainly not the creator...even though they are fooled into believing that is who they worship...

so i think it is time we all learn how to return to the indigenous way of thinking and spirituality, and stop letting ourselves be enslaves on so many levels...of course the powers that be do not like free men or free minds, but thats just it...they cannot control the mind, no matter how hard they try, it is up to us to realize this and take back that control of the mind first, then the rest will follow...

just some thoughts...

as far as war goes, sure we will never have 100% peace in the world...unless we nip hatred, jealousy, and control in the butt...

however there will always be someone who wants what another has, whether they need it or not, and how we learn to deal with that has got to be refined in order to make it more peaceful and harmonious, but it has to start at home...we cant force it on anyone abroad...let them worry about how they take care of their own homes...we have to first learn to take care of each other...then the lifestyle will spread if we share these ideas smartly...but also, we cant make things better if we hoard wisdom...

ok, im finished for now...

Well actually I'm pretty sure the US has/is developed mind control technology.

And you're certainly right about the meaning of religion. I laughed, because most people don't know that.
