`My tone is civil here hekawi. With all due respect when was the last time you heard anywhere that a religious figure other than a priest in the Christian faith was accused or found guilty of that? I haven't heard of it. THat's not to say it's never happened, I am not saying that. Please do not put words into my mouth. Also please refrain from insults, especially if you will offer no information that proves otherwise. It was only the Christian religions that me and everyone else in the world ever heard about when the abuses came to light so that's all anyone can go on. It was never written in the paper or covered on the news that it occured within other religions. Again I'm not saying it didn't or hasn't happened within other faiths, just that that's the only religion mentioned. If it's happened in other ways, no one has or will come forward so that it can be known and the proper actions taken. Anyway I take no issue with the Christain people or religion. I do take issue however with those who would take any child's innocence away. Especially in such a disgusting and loathsome way as that. Anyway, if you can tell me when and where you saw an instance of s----l abuse commited by a religious figure not of any Christian based religion in print or on T.V. and I can find it anywhere, my last comment on the subject will be to share the information found on forum.

when all the abuse by RELIGIUOS FIGURES had come to light was that it was only the priests in the Christian faiths, specifiicly the Catholic faith that were accused and or found guilty of that crime. I understand that there is abuse of that nature in all walks and within any group of people but I was not speaking on that as this post was concerning the scandals in the church. Sorry it took so long for me to answer your email, but I am very busy working with things that matter to me more than mother earth right now.I work with the homeless, abused children, elderly and so on. I believe the plight of the needy should come first before saving a tree or worrying about who is doing what to which lake. See everyone has things they care about and you should never get angry at the other person because they don`t think like you..
