Hi everyone!

I was born in Michigan, and what little information I could find about my heritage was that we are part of the Saginaw Tribe of Chippewa.

Does anyonw know much about this tribe?
I checked the website, but it is more about the present day (big casino up north) and not much history on the tribe itself.

Any info would be helpful and very much appreciated.

`Hi there. I use to live there in Mt. Pleasant, MI. and yes it is a big Casino. I did work on the construction. Look up Zibawing Museum or the Elijah Elk Cultural center(7th Generation Cultural Center). I did work there too.If there are numbers call and find out if they can send a information packet.
