So here I go stirring up trouble as is per usual with me =) I believe that not all prejudice is bad. In life we as humans all have to make judgments, and we do so anyways whether good or bad. Such as when I see crackheads I don't want anything to do with them, might be a nice person but honestly I don't care. I don't want to be around that element. As far as ---------- goes around subcultures and race and religion I guess I'm not prejudice in anyway. I'll give anyone the time of day being that I was a traveler and I've been on the utter bottom in the past you learn to talk to everyone and not judge. However being the way I look I get a LOT of prejudice. My picture isn't up at the moment but I'm a punk rock metal industrial girl so I have tats and piercings and wear dark and bright clothes and AWESOME make up (thank you) and I get looked at weird constantly and have people veering other ways so they don't have to walk by me. Mothers will move their children to the other side of their body as to protect them from getting eaten by me. Yet I'm a good girl. I don't do drugs, I'm not an alcoholic, I'm not addicted to anything, don't even drink coffee. I love to exercise, I like crocheting. I don't rip people off, I enjoy helping people. I shocked people downtown one day cause I ran across a busy street to help an elderly woman who fell. I picked her up and helped her cross the street. What was nice though was a few other people came running to help who were in suits and nice business dress but she handed me her purse and let me lift her and walk her. People actually stopped and some with mouths open. The prejudice my "freak"y friends and I get is rediculous. We are good people but because we like to have fun with our looks we are seen as horrible monsters. Honestly we kind of laugh at it cause we know we aren't but sometimes it does get annoying. If I see a handsome stranger sometimes I talk myself out of saying anything to him cause I just don't want to deal with weirding him out lol well anyways this is just my experience.

The United kingdom is England ,Ireland , scotland and wales,
On government forms we are not recognised as English, so most of my friends and family will cross out British and put English, its not such a big deal really sometimes its amusing when we have the politian's aka looney lefties who are English by birth who campaign against us flying our st george flag incase it upsets those in England who are offended by our flag.
Me personally I do as I wish and allow them also to do as they wish.

`Sometimes I get backlash racism because I'm white. I can understand backlash racism, i can empathize with where that comes from, so I have never responded to it with anger or outrage, even though it does hurt my feelings.

`Whoops! The question of this thread was...what are the worst prejudices you ever heard? Well, when I was a little girl, about five years old, our neighbor, Mrs. Nagle threw a bithday party for her four year-old daughter. All the kids in the neighborhood were there. We were all playing when she came outside and saw that the little latino boy who lived next door to them on the other side had jumped the fence to join the party. Apparently Mrs. Nagle had not invited him, because she picked him up, crying, and put him back outside the wall. My father had been watering the flowers and saw her do this. I don't think I ever saw my dad so angry. He yelled at her; "Lady, you are a real witch, you know that?" And he called me to come home, sent my mom to the store for cake and ice cream, and invited that little boy over to our house for a party of our own.

`Fear and ignorance. Unwilling to examine, investigate, or acknowledge something personally unknown is simply lazy. To see life through such a narrow vision will only hinder and bind personal growth to a point of suffocation. Life is vast so we have room to explore, understand, and enjoy the freedom of honesty through an open mind. Mvto.
