I knew this man who came up amongst the rubble of gang banging, dope dealing and prostitution, to travel the country and deliver a message of his story to the masses. He saw the worst of humanity and longed for more. He saw murder, abuse, and drug addiction, and how the predator of the streets can tear its way through the lives of the addicted and their families. He preyed on these weaknesses but wanted more. He knew this was not the way and knew he was meant for more. His name was Cisco.
Cisco was addicted himself, you see the beast had consumed him and he was just as much a victim to this cycle as the afflicted. He was addicted to that fast life and his whole purpose in life was to feed this beast. The adrenaline this life of chaos produced was just as addictive as the death he peddled. He had himself become hooked. The fast hustle life of women and gang banging had taken him completely. Yet deep inside his very soul he still had that glimpse of something more.
It would take Cisco years to realize he needed to leave this life and years of consequences hed face from living it. This life had affected all his relationships with family, friends, and women. He had been trained to be harden and brash with people and would take your respect if it was not given freely. He had become a savage. He had become the arm of the predator that held the afflicted in its grasp.
He soon met people that had taken this life and began to write about it and put into words and songs and was amazed at how natural this was to him. It was so easy and so relieving. He began to write and write and he felt the weight of his past life become less and it was easier for him to breath. He told his story to any that would listen and left that world to travel the country and spread his message.
In this journey he still bore the scars of this life and in the shadows it still lingered. He would learn later that he could never really out run his past just run faster towards his future. So refusing to look back and refusing to be held in the grasp of that beast he pushes on.
Cisco is not a victim, he is not a beast, but a man with a past, that will not dictate his future. I am Cisco and this is a glimpse into me. A man, a Gemini, and I am not a beast.

`You should write a book Trubb! It doesn't have to be meant for anyone but you. When you put everything down into words, if gives you some sense of peace. Wonderful writing!

`Excellent writing, and so glad Cisco found his way back, so many never make it out of the life.I had a nephew that led this life and he died a tragic dead.Killers never found and most likely never will be.

`absolutely. if i get the chance i will try to write this book. i will need the help of an editor i am sure. but i feel i have a pretty good writing ability. but yes zoupi please share. jus know this is from my life and is the back bone to the story of my life.
