Something that made my day

Many people say that when someone passes on, they come in to check on you. Whether it be the feeling that someone is watching you, or an eagle flying over head. I usually don't take one person's word for it but I keep myself open to the possibilities.

After my grandfather died, I always wondered if he would come visit, and what shape would he come in, and today I got my answer. It was a dragonfly

Today while I was walking I walked by a large group of dragonflies. To begin with, that was strange. I usually never see dragonflies where I live. But as I walked away from the dragonflies one broke away from the group and followed me. As it followed me it did loops in the air, crossed my path and flew beside me. This same dragonfly followed me all the way home! I know it was the same dragonfly because it never left my field of vision. Once I got home it flew away.

It may be just a coincidence, but either way it made my day!

i went home today and took a nap for lunch... got up, and as i was driving out of my driveway, i see a shadow flying overhead. i peer up out my window and its an eagle... its my dad. whenever i am having a rough time, he comes to let me know he is always with me. this has been a tumultuous week for me and so many others.
