Hi there, how is everyone? My name's Lolly. I'm really useless at introducing myself. I live in England, down on the south east coast. we have an awful lot of history here - which is fascinating, but we have no culture (besides yob culture). It sucks!
So I thought I'd join here and see if I can make some new friends; some people who are more than just vandalism and stabbings!
So, in conclusion, I babble, and hi, and I hope everyone has a super day! Love to all x

`Hi Lolly, I was in England last year for a quick visit, in the west, mostly a lot of driving, not much else. It looks a lot like where I'm from in Northern California(in the spring anyway), except without all those hedges and neat old houses.
I thought the locks were interesting too, because I took a cultural geography class, and you know, locks played a major role in the industrial revolution...not that the industrial revolution is all that great, but we wouldn't be where we are today without it...not sure thats good either.
Well, anyway, just wanted to say hi, and welcome, for my part.

Yeah, locks are fun on a lazy canal holiday - unless you're the one who has to do all the work - lol! I live in the south east, with gazillions of castles, abbeys, monestary ruins and stuff - the beach where William the Conqueror landed in 1066 is just down the road from me. We had smugglers in the are in the 1600's, and still celebrate them on Guy Fawke's Night with local bonfire society processions and firework displays!
Mind you, we weren't taught anything of our fascinating local history in school, just stuff about world war one and world war two.
Anyway, I'm gonna stop babbling on now! Laters, guys! xXx
