Well being that I'm late into this topic I suppose I just wanted to make a statement on the fact....
Everyone can walk the path of other men/women's shoes but no one can wear the same shoes that are one the feet of the person who has been through/living the events.

`Wow! I read all of your posts. Wow! People do have hang ups! Not just native people but all people have it. Even some white people drink and abuse drugs, too. Native people are not the only ones with issues. I mean no one is important and natives are not perfect either. They are not any different from white people except that you can easily notice the cultural differences between these 2 races. Not all natives have lost their cultures which still gives hope for the future of unborn generations of natives.
I know a white woman who committed suicide and encountered a near-death experience. She found herself standing among thousands of trapped spirits (people) who committed suicide. They have no free will, no memory of who they are or even their name. They committed suicide and reaped the consequences of the spiritual law. God who strongly disapprove suicide, said to her in an angry thunderous voice: "Life is supposed to be hard. You can't skip over parts. We have all done it. You must earn what you recieved." Remember
what we read in the Bible about how Jesus suffered in a very painful experience. Do you remember that? Well, he had endured it with dignity. This is what all natives are doing today. They are enduring hardships with dignity if not pride. Dignity is the most precious thing. Treat your friends and strangers with equal dignity which is above all things. This is same as loving your neighbor as you love yourself. That's God's top priority commandment. He does not care if you are white or rich or if you have big b--bs or if you have a fancy car or if you have a lot of money in the bank or if you have a lot of friends. God does not care about that. He even knew you before you was born and he knows your needs and even your weaknesses. One thing he wants to know is whether you have made the difference in his other children's lives. He put many different kinds of people here on the earth for his special purpose. Why? He wants to test you and see if you truly walk your talk whether you are Christian or spiritual or whatever. Be consistent!
