I would like to thank all of your replies to my joke. I had as much delight in reading your responses as I had writing it. For those of you who got it, kudos. Some people thought I was attacking religion. Au contrare! If you read it well, you will see there is not one word against it. There was not one word against the Pope.

In the words of Foghorn Leghorn (and I might be dating myself) he always says, "That's a joke, son. That's a joke." The joke was about the Indian man. Native people have always had the ability to laugh at ourselves.
