Well tbh....I never feel like I'm from this planet either nor do I feel english even though I was born here. I feel often that i'm from somewhere else(possibly why I joined this site)...because I don't seem to share anything in common with my own family. It's like I was planted here but not adopted...i'm really not adopted...very much my mother IS my mother & real father is my father...yet...feels like they are not.
My hair, my skin and the colour it goes when I tan, my manner, my outlook, my interests....basically everything has nothing in common with those that are my family. I used to think I was adopted because that was the only logical sense but like I said I'm not adopted. So what other explanation is there...????????????
I sort of wonder if blood and DNA has memories in it that get passed on or I'm an old soul hunting for it's past. Which ever it is....I have never belonged anywhere...well here in the UK anyway.
We think my real grandfather was an american serviceman that was stationed near my grandmother for WW2, as my real father doesn't look english either but who knows as I no longer talk to that side of the family. I may look pale and pasty on my profile pic but thats due to spending at least 10yrs avoiding the sun wearing factor 60+ sunblock (I don't burn I just go a funny colour that isn't how everyone tans here)as I have always felt uncomfy when I tan because I go a different colour to anyone else in my family. My fathers eyes were hazel, my mothers blue, my natural hair colour is a very dark brown. I don't even look english when I go brown if you can call it that. I go to other countries like spain, italy and america and instantly ppl think I'm from there and so shocked when I open my mouth.
So I may just be from pluto too....

`Yes I believe you lived next door to me!!
You just have a recessive gene coming through.. You know how you English used to conquer all parts of Europe so maybe somewhere in that line you carry Sicilian, Italian, or French blood, you just never know! What really amazed me about England in the old days (don't know what England does now) for such a tiny little country you really kicked butt!!!!

Well your right there....as I have family that is listed on the Bayeaux tapestry....so me and Zoupi could even be very very very very very...etc distant cousins...hehe. Though my french side the family came over back in 1066 with william the conqueror but settled in Ireland and not England. My mothers family name was back then D'Alton but they dropped the ' and became Dalton but the coat of arms still has the fleur de lys white on a bright blue background with a helmet (like you would imagine sir lancelot to have...hehe).
So I go olive brown though I often think I look like i'm going more green than brown. I COULD BE AN ALIEN YET!!!!
Yes back then (centuries ago)England used to own a huge empire that spread over most of the world for such a little country but now in modern times England tends to be a follower than a leader....not sure who it should respect more...europe or the US.
