`Choctaw and Chickasaw tribes are both cousins. You can google the key word "Choctaw" on internet and you can read the search results about them. The singer, Johnny Carson, was Choctaw.

`Choctaw Indians live in Oklahoma and Mississippi. You can visit their tribal offices and get to know your people.

`Hello I am one of many mixed bloods who carry the DNA of several nations. When I was raised, my grandmothers made certain that I was exposed to Sisika/Hunkpapa & Dakota culture. I would say that the older I get I think of what I leared was Sisika. I also remember some of my Grandfathers stories (he was Coast Salish) about the Ones with the Teeth. It frightened me as a child, but is funny now as I am nearly 55 years old. Are there anymore mixtures of nations from the Northen Plains & Canadialaskan nations on this site

`Im not Native American but i am Maori from the IWI or Tribe of Waikato-Tainui and from the Hapuu or subtribe/s of Ngati Ngutu, Ngati Tamainupo, Ngati Parekawa.
My people the Tainui people have been trading with the following tribes: Seminole, Choctaw, Chickasaw, since the late 14th century.
Is there any Native Americans out there who have any stories or tales remembering the bonds that our people used to share.
My people have also been trading with the Pacific islands, Indians from the Indian continent, south american Indians and Aboriginal Taiwanese and Aboriginals from Australia since 1600's.

`Hey there friends. I am Odawa(ottawa), originally from Northern Michigan. Being a Native is such an honor to be the first representatives of OUR land.

I am part Native North American Indian but I was adopted in NY and do not know my roots. I am very interested in learning more about all native Americans but particularly the people of the NY State and NY Long Island area. Nice to be here with all of you.
