I was not raised to hate anyone and I have never called anyone a racial slur.
One thing I don't understand is that if you dislike white people why would you or any one else even consider dating one? Doesn't make any sense to me!!
I have read the hate filled post towards white people and I also see that it is okay to attack white people here but do not even try to attack a "so called native"..

Seems freedom of speech only applies to a chosen few and I am not one of them..

I must say the forum has got really boring since rebel and hugger stopped posting.. I believe right or wrong they had a lot of good things to say..

I need to be quiet or I will get banded like rebelyell did..

`it's not that i dislike all white people. i find it hard to like the ones who think that they are the best race on earth. again, i don't dislike white people and have no problem dating a person not of color.
i have read some of the really hateful posts and notice that is was 'ok' to attack them. I kinda felt sorry for some of the people who were being attacked. no matter what they tried to say it was always taken the wrong way. i also noticed that some "educated" people had bad things to say about all people not of color. that was not fair either. it's not ALL white people that are bad or racist.
the forum has gotten a bit tense without rebel and hugger's humor to lighten it up. they did have a lot of good things to say that opened up your mind and gave the forum the light hearted humor that was needed at times.
i'll try to be more quiet but really don't care if i get kicked off this site. there are some things that just need to be said to bring some people down from their high places.

Have I some reasons to feel my ashamed to be white ? Certainly not, because no more me than any other members of my family has never been responsible or actor in such crimes. Now, I have no more reasons to be especially proud to be white because it's not a value, just a fact commune to all those being issued from Europe.

For me to be white just don't mean anything ! I'm me first, after I'm a woman, then I'm issued of my family, after of a particular Region and at the end, I'm French.

I look at the history and realize that each group of people (no matter the criteria you choose to constitute this groupe : race, color, religion... etc) one day is a winner and sadly too often also a pillaging even when not a dictator, another day is a looser, deprived of all, humiliated, having to fight for survive first and to ameliorate the life of its children after.

I'm not saying that the Natives have no reasons to hate the "whites". I just say that at the time where some whites had all the powers it was impossible to say anything. Now things have changed and I'm not sure that American's whites still have all the powers inside their hands. To only focus on their passed crimes could hide what is happening in bad today !

As witch I could be burn by peoples of my own race, color and nationality. As person I have never meet any problem in being friend with peoples with a different color, some beliefs stranger for me and a different culture. I trust more on our personal human revolts than in the "famous" lessons the history should teach us !

Now to end in refering to history, as said a French to one English on a place they had both finally any right to be : Misters the English... shot first !

I'm saying if someone is still bitter about the past- I really can't hold it against them. History piques emotion.
It'd be nice be to make some progress the way societies are viewed; so many stigmas present that hinder any change.

I can't speak for others but my main reason for joining this site is that it is one of the few I have found with natives people on it. It is one of the few resources out there to actually learn about your lives. Now, why is that a problem? You want to be heard, you want to be understood, but you don't want us here ( this remark is ONLY for those with an issue with white people on this forum) You just cannot have it both ways.
So long as people think this way things will only get worse..never better. All people suffer and that is a fact.
