TODAY IS VETERANS DAY

Today is Veterans Day and to all the Veterans I thank you for defending my country.. This is the greatest country in the world.. I honor all Veterans living or passed on from wars or natural causes.

I honor my dad who fought in WW2 and the Korean War and came back and never ever told about what he witness.

I honor all the Veterans that did not make it back.

I honor all the Vietnam Vets that came back and was subject to such a hostile coming home.. That was one of the saddest moments in history, and I pray it never happens again.

I honor all our Military serving now. I am proud of our Military, where would we be without them?

THESE ARE MY HEROES!!

Sometimes we need to sit back and just be grateful for the great country we live in and all you have.If it wasn't for our Veterans where would we be?

Even the poorest of the poor in this country is rich compared to other Countries..

`This day is odd for me. Every single father and father figure in my life has been in the military. Grandfathers, cousins, aunts, uncles, and definitely a large handful of my friends.
I honor those who fought and died and I also honor those who are currently in the military (whatever branch) fighting for this country. Especially since over half of them went in for reasons other than pride--more survival.
I feel quite honored, sometimes, to be in a country where my voice is not always muffled and muted. I work hard but I cannot say that I am suffering and I am glad for that. These men have been fighting for our country's honor and young, old and especially to those whose lives were taken--thank you.

`war what is it good for, "absolutly nothing." the song by WAR. please write to your congressmen, legislature, senators. let them know that our veterans need medical attention for the woes of war. i have advocated for many, many Vietnam Veterans due to their health & mental issues. their are many that do not receive any kind of benefits. i know because i am one of them. now our veterans that are coming back from the middle east are facing these same issues. can we kill another person & live with these killings. the shock of killing another human being is there & you never forget. then as you see it day to day, you become immune to it, we become more lethal. but it haunts you for the rest of your life. this is why our veterans have so many problems adjusting back to civilian life. PTS is what it's call. we are not prepared for all the destruction that comes with war. this is the darkness that touches us from the inside. PEACE.
