I am curious if anyone has found the one they were looking for on this site?

Many ( both Sexes) claim they are looking for their partner to have qualities that are of common interest ,but when the truth boils down they appear to want anything but that.

Are people looking for someone who make themselves look good?

Is a man put off by a well rounded and educated woman?

Remember,in a relationship between two individuals it's not a competition between you and your partner, but teamwork with each person complementing the other so together both may be strong in differences as well as similarities.

It would be nice to hear the success stories as well as views on why so many games are played,(games) for lack of better word, and problems, or suggestions. Lets keep the dialog from turning into long winded rants, please be to the point.[/b]

`I thought I did....someone with whom I could talk about anything....great conversations, sharing of life experiences and family, but he didn't want to show me his real face....physical face...not all women or men,( maybe I should speak for myself), care alot about physical qualities....they can be pleasing to the eye & may be the initial attraction, but ultimately it is what is in their heart that I find or don't find attractive....

`I agree with you, they can look as if they could step out from in between the pages of a men's fashion magazine, but if they are rude ,disrespectful and have nothing filling up that space where the brain should be, the attraction fades......FAST. S-- and good looks can only hold you over for so long before you desire something deeper that satisfies the mind and soul.

I met a wonderful lady recently, we are both sharing some interest to one another! Wow, I did send her a smooch, I think a good smooch is a great way to meet people! Also met many great women on here, wow, what a treasure trove. My friends Geoff and Mel Brown if yaw visit our site are single, and we also have some great new music at the band site if yaw follow the profile links.

One more thing, it is very hard to be a handsome Native man with a Ph.D., and Geoff who is a M.A. in Ethnomusicology (Hebrew man), and Mel Brown ( Paiute Artist), we all have been single for a long time.

We always thought it was because we are intelligent, kind, sensitive, honest and so forth. Yet, we have many friends and so forth.

I can tell yaw, it is almost a curse sometimes in Indian COuntry to be educated and half way good looking. It is like People do not trust your intentions or think yaw have women jumping at the seams to go out with yaw! But for me, it is not like that.

Think about this for a second....Since when do pictures really portray the reality of who you are as a person, I hate my pictures and think they look nothing like me and I bet you hate a lot of the pictures of yourself too, and I bet some of those whom you are put off by their pics are teddy bears in reality and look nothing like their photos.

Interesting you say you hate your photos because I actually like the one you have on default. For me photos give a bit of insight to the individual's personality ~ artistic visions and what not.. And while yes, sometimes our photos can be a little misleading they still offer a face to the words we read on our screens for us visual folks. But I do agree its only a small part of the attraction. The rest most definately has to come from inside..

`I have to agree about the pictures. I do not know anyone who really likes the way they look in pictures unless they're full of themselves. When I was in high school, I was pretty superficial and definitely went by outside appearances, but as I've grown older, I've come to realize that it is pretty shallow to judge solely on outward appearances. Beauty is only skin deep and most of the time, those 'cuties' are the biggest losers on the planet.

I had a lot of fun, was laughing alot and enjoyed the most time.. but I had to face that fun and laughters can not hide nasty behaviour for a long time. I wanted to see a pic of him.. and I was told..soon, soon...I asked again..I got a pic of a b--- j-- titled : Ina and me. Even a soulmate can turn into a frog ...
