WHAT A SOUL MATE IS TO ME!

IT SEEMS TO ME MANY HERE ALWAYS SAY THEY ARE LOOKING FOR THEIR SOULMATE, SOMETIMES I FEEL THAT PEOPLE DON'T REALLY KNOW THE MEANING OF SOUL MATE. THIS IS WHAT I FEEL IT IS..

.The term soul mate means many different things. These are souls that you have experienced with in past, parallel or future lifetimes. They can also be aspects of your soul experiencing at this time in another body. We are all multidimensional beings, your soul having experiences, in many realities, at the same time. As we all evolve from the same source of consciousness creation, we could say that we are all soul mates in a manner of speaking.

Souls often come together to work out issues or play reverse roles than that which they are experiencing elsewhere.

Anyone who is in your biological family, or adopted family, or pseudo-family, is a soul mate to you.

You feel closer to certain souls, because you have attracted them into your life as they are on the same frequency as you or because you want to work out issues with them.

THIS IS MY HUMBLE OPINION AT WHAT I HAVE LEARNED THROUGH EASTERN RELIGION...

But I can wrap my thinking around what you are saying here in how you understand it.Although..now just me, to each their own, ya know..I dont believe I have lived before, could be wrong!Maybe I am brand new to any dimention..who knows? But my hang up with soul-mate is left over from the thinking of my friends I had when I lived in Portland. A lot of them believed in soul-mates (something you dont find as prevalent in the mid-west small town thinking) and what I seen was a lot of trouble from it. There seemed to be a hopeless twist in that..okay, there is only one true soul mate..and if you dont meet them you are SOL, but if you do and lose them then you are SOL for life as well and now doomed to miss half yourself and die lonely. Fun. Or they think they met them but he/she is really an a**hole but they wont leave because "he/she is my soul mate"..then we're dealing with the whole death "issue" again. Jeez....that is why I have been the way I have been with the subject of soul-mate. I CAN really get my thinking around "kindred spirit" though. (But probably because, as of yet, I have no even semi structured spiritual beliefs as a guide around this stuff)anyway...Kind of like what Cello says a "soul buddy". And I am so fortunate that I have a handful of real quality ones!
But wont you guys just let a girl wallow just a little bit?ha ha

`Hugger..I was thinking about this post today and reference to Spitituality..in particular the Eastern beliefs. I took a nap but as I am waking I did want to relay my brush with Eastern thought...When I lived in the city I loved bookstores..well, I had on my mind about if there was "something else" out there and if there is what It meant to me or what I meant to It. So I was reaching up to grab a book that looked interesting and knocked a shelf below..in doing that a book fell flat down..opened. NOT believeing in coincidence I picked it up on the opened page and read it (the book was called 'I Ching' on the cover) and what had fallen open said, basically, "you are treading in the tracks of..a Tiger..a Powerful and Dangerous Being..a close ally..dangerous if crossed...." well, I quickly put the book away and decided that it was coincidence. Was thinking about that when I woke up..I guess soul topics get me remembering.ha...(maybe NOT ha.)

`Thanks Hugger...and despite what I post, I really do have a deep respect for Spirituality. Yes, I have had some anger at the idea of a God for awhile in my life..but I also understand the idea that we are created free. and at some point needing to accept the responsibilities for our actions toward others..all life. I used to be angry at the idea of a God as I wanted "him" to be a knight in shining armour for me and that was not my experience. Instead of being rescued..I was carved. And now at 41...I really am okay with that..but it has been very recent. I found it also tied into forgiveness of my own mother..go figure?...goodnight!
