I see vision of spiritual elements in all living things
As all beings and things are seen as a sacred
Our sacred circle of expression
We worship in nature rather than in human religion
Our spirituality and nature coincide with each other
This sacredness is manifested in and throughout all of nature
In our special sacred places we go to smoke and pray
It is the living breath that represents
It is manifested by our sense of touch
It is the direct relationship that connects us
To the spirit in all living things.
The water is the center where all things are created
All nations have a song
All the rivers
All the creeks
All the winds
All the trees
All everything has a whispering song
It is in direct relationship of all "Dinee (Nations)" and with their environment
Our peace, harmony, serenity, and balance with the Earth Mother
Is in direct balance with all living things
It is from the core of our Mothers womb
That the life of all may come as one relation
It is the richness of our prayers that reflects our culture
Given to us by our Holy People
It is the foundation of our family, kinship, language, culture, and tradition
It is our eternal tie to the Creator
That will maintain our sense of self awareness
To keep the richness of our cultural identity
For all the eternities

`Hello:) I just saw this poem, and again I have to say that you write so beautifully. A lot of what you say especially in this one, are things I too beleive. Everything and every nation does have it's own voice, it's own song. Yet we are all related as well. I hope you keep shareing these beautiful and true words.

Dinewalking breathes new life into Native American history and culture and takes us back in time on the journey with him.
The customs and traditions of our ancient and living cultures can help us to learn from the past, live and grow in the present and give our best in the future to become The People again.
Thank you Dinewalking for sharing your journey and taking us with you.
