Ok, so here is the deal... I have two bites from a brown recluse. To make matters worse, one bite is on the upper inner thigh and the other is on the back of my thigh. So, when the doctor goes to cleaning the "inner bite", I raise the sheet and say, "Peek-a-boo". I am so glad the doc has a sense of humor.
Nausea sets in...throwing up is my enemy!!! So, my wonderfully concerned mom heats chicken and noodle soup for me. This is a nice gesture; but, my eyes see ....worms swimming in chicken broth. The backstroke, american crawl, butterfly. All the while, they are smiling at me!! So, I decide that crackers and hot tea would be a better idea.
Then comes dinner time.... my mom decides that since i had a problem with chicken noodle soup, she would heat chicken and rice. Yep, you got it!! I now sat looking at .... chicken broth with ....maggots!!! And, yeppers, i think they were mocking me, too. So, it was, you guessed it, crackers and hot tea again.
Good ole Mom.... she laughs!!!
