I just left a funeral for a young man today. He committed suicide, As I sat I pounder on the fact that I will not judge his thought, and how he must have felt that there was no tomorrow for him. My mind was on the fact that we as parents need to let our children know that each and every day is new, That nothing stays the same, Joy come in the morning, We must teach them to hold on, Talk with someone , Tell the Lord your problem. Trust God for he is in control. Find a person or a family member in whom you feel comfortable communicating with. Give our children that extra hug, Tell them we love them just because. Put up a talkbox, For those who don't know what that is . Its when you make a box in which a love one can put a note in it and the parents check it and address the situation each and every day. Let the children know that you are approachable and will not blame them. Listen to the children as they speak. I don't want to go to this type of funeral ever again. I rather hear the pastor say this person live a long and happy life.
