I'm Serbian, my ancestors were an old Slavs, and I'm an Orthodox Christian by birth and by choice.
The reason why I am here is that I strongly believe that Serbian and Native American have much in common. The reason why I've posted this topic is that I sew, in this site forum, posts regarding killing and torture of Native American ancestors by Christians.
I'm not a politician, nor I'll ever be, because you can't be politician and Christian in the same time, that is contradictory. Indeed, you can call yourself as you want, and you can, in that name, do certain things: moral or immoral, honorable or dishonest, good or evil...
People who killed and tortured Native American were not Christians. Who knows what they were. What I know is that God, the Great Spirit, the undestroyable and eternal power, which created all, can't teach to kill, nor to proclaim destruction. That is complete nonsense. So, Christianity should not be confused with instruments of power used by rulers, politicians, governments...
For example: in 14th century Serbia was conquered by Turkish Ottoman Empire (Islam religion). And what they done - stole our children and took them in Islamic countries were they become soldiers of Islam (janjicari) and then, janjicari get back to Serbia to kill Serbian (their mothers, sisters brothers). It lasted almost five centuries. Should I hate Turkish people because of that?
Furthermore, I've survived two wars and NATO bombing in 1999. Why in this action innocent civilians were killed no one ever explained. Should I hate American people because of it?
To resume: HATE solves nothing!
Every person on Earth has unique dialog with its Creator. And, every soul can be responsible for its own actions. The generalization and globalism is more danger than death. They can kill me, but I'll reborn... they can not destroy what I am - the child of Universe... LOVE
