hello to all, I hope this finds the sun shining for you! it is for me, I'm just missing 1 piece to the puzzle and I'll know when I find her. I figure if this isn't the place to begin my search (yes, at fifty!) its a pretty good place to start. I am of mixed heritage, a sexy swirl of Native & African American, a creative soul w/ music and art as my outlets. as an adult I've not researched my Native heritage as thoroughly as I should have, I'm now trying to correct that. a half-breed is that to both sides, I'm now taking power in my identity and pride. I've not yet researched my family's history, but many are members of the Haliwa tribe of North Carolina, that is where my parents were born. how's that for an introduction? peace
