She was planting tulips and roses on St. Agatha.
The street of fabled car wrecks,
protests led by iconic gypsies,
concoctions of pixies,
and looking upon the piratic remnants, she sighs,
then beautifully anchors her heart in the soil.

Once more the potpourri of wines and flowers
race down the '70's music' street but, it is the Lilac
Lace that wins.
Again, it is Violetta's ubiquitous perfume.
Again, it is more apparent than vision.
An Indian Princess Gypsy lives...

On St. Agatha she reigns under a magenta.
Where vaporous clouds rain down soft lavender
hair of raven is being wind-blown, sun-kissed skin of bronze is
beading perspiration on turquoise rings, lockets and bracelets,
Lilac Lace wins, launching a thousand ships, where I find
my way and Violetta smiles.
