To A White Person Upon First Meeting:

10. How much white are you?

9. I'm part white myself, you know.

8. I learned all your people's ways in the Boy Scouts.

7. My great-great-grandmother was a full-blooded white-Canadian princess.

6. Funny, you don't look white.

5. Where's your powdered wig and knickers?

4. Do you live in a covered wagon?

3. What's the meaning behind the square dance?

2. What's your feeling about river-boat casinos? Do they really help your people, or are they just a
short-term fix?

1. Oh wow! I really love your hair! Can I touch it

Hello Hugger !

That's great to see your humour being back
I'm too old for primary's school lessons and not very fan of the inflamatory's thrust of spirituality, so needed some rest

Funny story ! You joke but you're not so far of the truth (in fact you're never far of the thruth )
One of my friends living from your side of the world wrote me one day : "It's strange you don't look as white as the whites I know".
He almost made me died of laugh when I read that

It's not really what you was refering to but that made me remember of it.

The 4 musketeers miss me too ! Not for the rescue of the jewels of the Queen but mostly for their talent to make light the "pearls". It's so good to learn with the smile !

`That reminds me of what as children we used to ask my mom. When we wanted to ask her about something long time ago we would ask her "mom, back in the covered wagon days when George Washington was alive did you know him or did he live too far away?

`I remember reading a story about George Washington. He had a son named Weston Ford. He was 1/4 African-American. His mother was 1/2 Africa-American and her name was Venus. George and his son used to go hunting and fishing. He eventually inherited some of his father's property and stayed there until his death in the 1860's. He married a woman of color.
Thomas Jefferson also had a son who was born with red hair and blue eyes. He wa between 1/4 and 1/8 African-American. He grew into a young man and went away to Missouri to get away from the politics in Virginia. He married a woman whose skin tone was darker than his. He could have passed for white if he wanted to but he had chosen to make his home among the people of color. If you want to know more about them, you can google using the key words regarding them.

`That is the true story of people wth colored ancestry who discovered that they could pass for white so they got very successful when they disapeared into the white world. You might want to check out the book called "the sweeter the juice". The author is Shirlee Haizlip. She is African-American with multi-ethnic ancestry. She was mistaken for white many times but she never hestitated to inform the public of her preference. She had chosen to identify with African-American people. She is also descendant of Rappahannock Tribe located in Virginia. Her native ancestor's surname was Fortune which is a common name in that tribe.

Huggeroftrees you must have met some really screwed up white people who do not know the ways of the native americans. If you would stop judging the white people, maybe they would understand better and not ask so many questions
