Hi all
I am from Australia and been searching for many years for people who are native and still practising the traditional horsemanship methods of their former families.
I have native american blood very far back in my family and my husband does as well
We work here with abused and unwanted horses but our search for horsepeople in USA which are native has been unsuccessful
I appreciate any help at all
It means alot to me

`I would suggest looking into the Nez Perce in Idaho as I know they're actively working with horses still. They've crossed their own Appaloosas with some Akhal Teke stallions that they were donated some time ago. They now have their own beautiful Nez Perce breed which looks like an extra shiny version of the Appaloosa - unsurprisingly, they are extremely beautiful.
Here is a website - there are quite a few on Google.
