Just stoppin by to introduce myself.. You can call me "H" (my initial since I ain't postin my real name here). I am a mixed-blood man: Algonquin, French and Welsh. The Algonquin blood in my family comes from Kichi Sibi in Ontario/Quebec. And my French and Welsh blood comes from those early colonists of Quebec. I am also adopted Tetuwan Oglala Lakota from the Slim Buttes district of Pine Ridge. I am a member of the American Horse / Afraid Of Bear Tiospaye.
I've been raised an urban indin and am a long way from home out here in California. But I do help my people and will be going home again next summer. Over the past five+ years I've gotten really involved in the native community here in the Bay Area. I am also a very spiritual person. I Sun Dance in South Dakota and am a member of the Native American Church. I sit in with a local drum group occasionally. Go to a lot of powwows. And just spent my Thanksgiving at the Sunrise Ceremony on Alcatraz.
I pray that everyone here is able to find what they need in this mino bimaadiziwin.

It is a jungle here ennit? I'm not so sure about these forums. It seems that freedom of speech only exists outside of this site...
