I am unable to comprehend why it is, that I am attracting men that are simply not compatible with me. I've been in too many relationships based on the fact that he and I have the same taste in music, books, etc. But those just don't last. Usually he's either a smoker or an alcoholic as well (always at least one of the 2 if not both)
I don't think I'm ugly, at least I hope not. I'm very sweet, affectionate, and I'm also willing to move for the right person (depending on where they are located).
I'm just so frustrated getting replies coming from the hood, or White Christian suburbia. It's difficult to find someone magical, or that simply live a spiritually enriched life.
My Cherokee friend Cara told me a lot of Natives just don't trust most people outside of their race, but she didn't say all. I can understand the distrust, but it would be nice to at least be allowed the benefit of the doubt. I mean, I'm not looking to take away anyone's land, or shove them in some filthy hole with little to no health care; let alone any of that other crap that white america has done to it's native people.
As I've even stated in my profile, I'm not in this for the money either. So, what's the deal ? I just don't get it. I always find myself reaching out for the unattainable. I don't want to settle for less than the best. And in my opinion, anyone that is already walking the path I seek to tread that has a mutual attraction with me, is what's best. Just from looking over the profiles of most of the guys on here (if they're not lying), and talking to my buddy Cara, Native men simply seem a LOT better match for my lifestyle and values.
*sigh*
This is so frustrating.
