Back in April of 2007 I was working in my yard and across the alley there was this big commotion going on with one Felix the cat the terror of Michigan Ave..
I would watch Felix and wonder what she had caught (yes Felix is a girl, but thats another story) anyway I went over to see what the hell was going on and there huddled in a fetal position was this baby squirrel. Now this little guy would fit in the palm of your hand, seems no mama squirrel was around so I picked him up and took him home.
I bottled feed this little guy for two weeks and finally he was able to start eating food. Little here and a little there.
I was going to keep him and release him in the wild, but this guy had a mind of his own.
Chewy has a favorite toy it is Sponge Bob Square Pants. Now Sponge Bob is a talking toy and the best saying is Thats it Im outta here!!! If Chewy hears his Sponge Bob he comes running.
So now he lives with me in one giant cage, but if I am home he gets free run of the house.
He rides on my shoulder, cleans my cuticles,plays with my cat Monkey, when he is not terrorizing him and is the best little pet I have ever had.So that is the short story of Chewy Hood, his antics I could write a book on.
