How many of you's are Cherokee i must say all native american's i find them very interesting I'm only 1 1/8th Cherokee but iam very proud of being a desendent from some native american person from the past my mother is a quarter and my grand father was half cherokee half welsh now his mother was full blooded. I sadly do not know much about it.

` I have another question my whole family on my mom's side is from eastern shore maryland or annapolis and i know the cherokee are from the western states like NC and Tennesse etc. Do you think some mightve left the west and come to MD at one time! It's nice to meet everyone else.

` Shewolf I have Cherokee in me same as you,I only know what i have read. My great Grand father from my fathers side was full Cherokee. I want to learn more but my Father has passed and can not tell me. I am very proud of my heritage!! Just as lafincoyote said it comes from deep in the soul. I felt it for a long time but did not know why until i found out that i have Cherokee in me.
