"No Matter What"

My heart will need no one
Not a thing I can lose

There's no easy way out
Just follow my guiding moonlight

I'll just pretend the end is near
The point where it ceases to exist

If you see me
Don't give me your sympathy
Just give me a hug and shake my hand

I'll just carry on the same old way
But never forget what I have lost
My innocent that I never had

The bank of my emotions
Overdrawn by the mental holocaust

Am I out of my mind
Out of my depth

The feelings I get are deep down inside
My skin is so cold

Am I too far gone to barley survive
Is my conscience drying out
Ignored by my senses in and about

Drenched in my infested heaven
Know matter what
I will face the day

Even when paranoia runs with bad intentions
Will be my delusions of persecution

I'll run clutching the criticism of my origin
Living in my dreams of tangled misery

On my sacred ground
What have I found

Lost in a haze of broken images
Am I to cold to the human touch

I've spent way too long in the darkness
Without light I'll just keep on pretending

This confusing complicated state of bewilderment
Maybe soon I'll find my way out of this maze

`Thanks for posting this deep poem. There will be light again where it was missing, there will be warming sunlight from outside and inside to warm you up and fill you with the gentle colors of the rainbow. The broken images will fade until they are invisible like mist and the shining starlight will be stronger to enlighten you with the knowledge of your ancestress.
